Job Summary

The position is responsible for loan boarding, credit analysis, deal structuring, and pre and post approval process improvement. This position is to develop product program of Lombard Loan (Securities Based Lending), marketing campaign, and credit policy and underwriting while striving to maintain a well-balanced approach to risk management, formulating the sound recommendation for lending rules and strategy, setting up the standard LTV metric, ensuring all that processes and procedures are accurately put in place and in accordance with SCB bank policy standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Descriptions

  • Develop, review, and execute Lombard Loan Product Program, together with performing thorough review and updating the list of lendable assets (Loan to Value or LTV list) and formulate safe and sound LTV rule proposal
  • Analyze financial performance and conduct due diligence of client along with collateral for loan approval, together with prepare Credit Memos for evaluating inherent risks in borrower, transaction & underlying security, and making recommendation to mitigate associated risks to risk approval authorities.
  • Monitor constantly the performance of loan portfolio and highlight any credit, operational, and market risks in term of concentration and asset quality or underlying security or client, together with keep him or herself abreast on micro-macro markets and any related regulations, as well as investment products, including equity and fixed income, private asset, private debt, investment policy, and etc.
  • Streamline and automate the loan pre and post approval process and participate in any regular and ad-hoc projects for process automation, enhancement, improvement in relation to loan origination and monitor and collect feedback from relevant parties to improve and enhance product features
  • Interact with in-house team (business, risk, technical, marketing, and legal) to provide solutions to internal and external clients in a timely manner, together with provide daily operational support to related counterparties


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Banking, Finance & Accounting, Economics, or related fields
  • At least 5 years of work experiences in the related functions, preferably with credit or financial analysis background
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to succinctly present arguments
  • Possess an ability to understand the holistic concept and impact of the workflow in any module
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skill.
