As digitalization and technology becomes increasingly importance to SCB to offer a full range of innovative financial products, services and solutions to meet the needs of all customers, our Audit Function plays a significant role in providing assurance to stakeholders, the Managing Board and the Audit Committee. The team creates values by providing impactful recommendations around the bank’s digital transformation services, mobile applications, and new emerging technologies. We are seeking a candidate to join our strong team of audit professionals within our Digital Banking & Integrated Audit unit. The candidate would audit the bank’s and subsidiaries' digital banking channels including SCB Easy mobile banking, internet banking, ECO Partner Open Application Programming Interface (API), as well as emerging technologies and innovations, e,g, cloud technology, blockchain, machine learning, biometric authentication, and robotic process automation technologies used in new digital banking services.

Job Description

• Gaining, understanding, and identifying key risks in the bank or subsidiaries’ digital applications, e.g. security and application controls over digital channels, robotic process transformation projects, or new digital services and machine learning-related business models
• Assisting team managers in planning and executing audit engagements, including identifying and analyzing business processes, key risks and controls; interviewing auditees; determining audit scope; evaluating control design adequacy; and testing control performance effectiveness and making evaluations which effectively achieve audit objectives.
• Documenting audit working papers, preparing audit findings with root causes and appropriate recommendations as well as assisting team in drafting the audit reports.
• Collaborating audit activities by integrating with other internal audit subject matter teams (business process audit and Information Technology audit teams etc.) to ensure appropriate and efficient audit coverage of the operational and technology risks.
• Giving internal control advises on relevant new digital banking initiatives as well as collaborating across the three lines of defense regarding business processes, technological risks, and controls.
• Keeping up to date with new digital and technologies as well as their risks and technological concerns
• Performing other duties as requested by management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or technology related fields
• Years of information technology audit experience
• Experience in at least one of the following topics: mobile banking security, APIs and microservice architectures, biometric security, machine learning, blockchain
• Relevant banking and financial service industry knowledge
• Relevant knowledge of Agile or Scrum and DevOps concepts
• Excellent critical thinking, skepticism, and problem-solving skills
• CISA, CRISC, or IT Security related professional certificates
• Good command in verbal and written English communication skills
