SCB welcomes Eximbank Thailand management team to observe “Work from Anywhere”

On 9 September 2020, Siam Commercial Bank welcomed a management team from the Export-Import Bank of Thailand, led by Mrs. Wanpen Unchundacha, Executive Vice President, of the Finance and Compliance Function, to observe the Work from Anywhere practices adopted by SCB. SCB Employee Engagement & Communications Senior Vice President Mr. Kiattisak Sampaongern shared his insights with the group of delegates on Work from Anywhere practices which have been fully implemented by SCB since last August. With this new working method, SCB staff can choose to work from anywhere, not just in the office or at home. This new working style is in line with the ‘New Normal’ trend adopted by major corporations worldwide.

After the discussion session, Mr. Kiattisak led Eximbank delegates to tour SCB working areas from the People Function floor, SCB Academy Playground, and its latest SCB Sky Space. This newly opened co-working space has been designed to allow staff from any banking unit to meet and exchange ideas. It is fully equipped with facilities to help make working from anywhere easier and even more pleasant, and includes free WiFi, small and large conference rooms, self-service food and refreshment counters, a coffee shop, and vending machines. As a collaboration area that truly helps boost inspiration and offers a new working atmosphere outside traditional office arrangements, the SCB Sky Space allows staff to deliver their productivity to the fullest extent.
