SCB welcomes Toyota Motor Thailand management team to observe “Work from Anywhere”

On 2 September 2019, Siam Commercial Bank Senior Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer Mrs. Patraporn Siridom welcomed a Toyota Motor Thailand management team led by Ms. Pravena Nuntikulvanich, Vice President, Finance and Accounting Department and Mr. Praphan Janwatthanaphong, Vice President, HR Department on the occasion of their visit to observe SCB’s Work of Anywhere policy, which has been successfully implemented since 16 August 2020.

SCB is the first financial institution in Thailand embracing a Work from Anywhere working model in response to the ‘New normal’ working trend. Staff can opt for working from anywhere, not just their homes. The most important thing is that they can work from safe places, while still maintaining efficiency and productivity. Work from Anywhere has created a new corporate culture and way of working, thus increasing flexibility and speed. It has been proven to help lean the firm to help it better deal with the disruption and impacts brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
